The Water Smart Homes Activity

The Water Smart Homes Activity is one of the main activities of the MCA-Jordan, a company owned by the Government of Jordan to manage a grant of 275 M USD funded by US Government’s Millennium Challenge Corporation.In addition to the Water Smart Homes Activity, MCA-Jordan will execute the following projects in Zarqa Governorate: the Water Network Project, the Wastewater Network Project, and the As-Samra Expansion Project.

The Water Smart Homes Activity aims to improve the condition of home water systems and decrease costs that households, particularly poor households, in Zarqa Governorate incur to satisfy their subsistence water needs.

The Millennium Challenge Account-Jordan (MCA-Jordan) will tender four Contracts for maintenance and rehabilitation of the water network and water storage facilities in the houses of low-income families in Zarqa Governorate in Jordan.
